About Us

Our Mission

The mission of the Walter E. Dennis Learning Center is to provide students of all backgrounds with strategies for college success that will enable them to enter, excel in, and complete programs of postsecondary education; and to accomplish this by applying our expertise in education, psychology, instruction, and technology to the enhancement of learning and motivation.

Purpose

The purpose of the The Walter E. Dennis Learning Center(WEDLC) is to provide academic learning services and support to OSU students.  We serve as a "learning connection" for students in need of learning assistance in a number of areas including study skills, time management, test-taking strategies, learning from text, note-taking, and self-regulation strategies.  We are located on the second floor (room 250) of the Younkin Success Center (View Campus Map).
